Accessibility Statement

Comfort Systems, Inc. is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Our Commitment

Comfort Systems, Inc. is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We believe everyone in the Greater Baltimore community should be able to learn about our heating and cooling services, request help, and reach us with ease. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and work to improve the experience for all of our visitors.

Conformance Status & ADA Alignment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. Our efforts are also intended to align with the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing process, and while we strive to meet Level AA, some areas of the site may not yet fully conform.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, we work to:

  • Use semantic HTML structure, descriptive headings, and page landmarks;
  • Provide a "skip to content" link and support keyboard-only navigation;
  • Maintain visible focus indicators on interactive elements;
  • Provide meaningful text alternatives for informative images;
  • Aim for sufficient color contrast between text and its background;
  • Label form fields and communicate errors clearly;
  • Design for responsive layouts that work across devices and zoom levels; and
  • Review accessibility as part of our ongoing site maintenance.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. In particular, portions of our site rely on third-party tools whose accessibility we do not fully control, such as:

  • Our embedded online booking/scheduling widget;
  • Our third-party financing application;
  • The embedded map and directions;
  • Spam-protection (reCAPTCHA) challenges; and
  • Some content imported from our content-management system.

If any of these prevents you from completing a task, please contact us using the details below and we will help you directly — for example, by scheduling your service or taking your request over the phone.
